Every Thursday evening (except holidays) from 6-10 pm, Palm Canyon Drive is closed to traffic and is transformed into a lively festival featuring a wide variety of vendors displaying quality art, jewelry, crafts, food, live entertainment, and a certified Farmers Market. The Plaza Theater - This historic downtown theater feature live performances, plays, concerts and films. It's most popular production is the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies, a humorous and entertaining cabaret with performers who include former entertainers, Rockettes, Bob Fosse Dancers, and range in age from 50-85. Special guest stars, and amazing costumes with head-dresses make this a truly unique show. Advance reservations are highly recommended.

Palm Springs Desert Museum - The Coachella Valleys only major museum is located within walking distance of the hotel, and features world-class exhibitions of fine art, as well as offering many educational programs. The museums permanent collection is made up of 19th, 20th, and 21st Century art, as well as exciting special exhibitions from around the world. There's an eclectic calendar of performing arts each season in the Annenberg Theater, located in the lower level. Located right next to downtown at the base of the San Jacinto mountains, this modern building was designed by Palm Springs architect E. Stewart Williams. Village Green Heritage Center - Created by the Palm Springs Historical Society, this mini-village located in the heart of downtown feature the McCallum Adobe (first pioneer home built in Palm Springs, now the home of the History Museum), Miss Cornelia's White House, Ruddy's Genral Store, and the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum Information Center. These historical buildings can be toured from October through May.

Palm Springs Air Museum - This museum is dedicated to the restoration, preservation and operation of Americas legendary fighters, bombers and trainers. It contains one of the world's largest collections of flying WWII airplanes, including the Robert J. Pond Collection.
