Palm Springs Modern Committee
News & Events Schedule
The Palm Springs Modern Committee is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to promoting and maintaining the heritage of modern architecture and design in Palm Springs and the entire Coachella Valley. Our goal is to be a meeting place for Palm Springs Modernists, both residents and nonresidents, with the ability to quickly mobilize support for urgent preservation issues.

Palm Springs Preservation Foundation
Events
The Palm Springs Preservation Foundation was established in 1997, as a non-profit educational foundation, to identity and recognize our historic sites, which set Palm Springs apart from other desert communities. Our "Village" history, reflected in our unique architecture is as distinctive and diverse as is our population growth.

Palm Springs Art Museum
The Architecture and Design Council of the Palm Springs Art Museum hosts an exciting upcoming season of Lectures and Symposia. Tickets are $5 for Architecture and Design Council members and $10 for nonmembers. Please call 760-325-4490 for tickets.

Founded in 1938, the Palm Springs Art Museum is an educational institution that promotes a greater understanding of art, natural science and performing arts through collections, exhibitions and programs. The Natural Science department provides field trips, exhibitions, and programs in biology and archaeology. The Museum's permanent art collection features 19th, 20th, and 21st century works focusing on contemporary California, classic western American, Native American and Precolumbian art. Event Information
Dolphin Productions puts on three modernism shows a year in the U.S. - in Palm Springs, Chicago and Miami. The Palm Springs Modernism Show happens during President's Day weekend in February, and is held at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
